Young At Heart

Image

I’d rather be a pasty white,

Pale like a sheet in the dead of night,

Brown to a crisp is just not me,

I’d rather not look crinkly you see,

I’ll hold on to my youth for as long as I can,

Keep the gray at bay and use fake tan,

I’ll drink gallons of water instead of wine,

The admiring glances will all be mine,

I’ll go dancing till dawn in all the best places,

And laugh with delight at the look on their faces,

I’ll always be young, well at least in my heart,

Now I’ll put my false teeth in,

That’s a good way to start
